As a Project Engineer at Webcor, I was involved in every aspect of a project phase – from procuring bids, Estimating, taking off quantities to producing closeouts documents, as-builts and warranties to the owner. Below is a list of tasks I am involved in: - Reviewing drawings, sketches, specifications and contracts and Identifying scope changes. - Review construction conformance and contract documents with Specifications. - Setup, coordinate and interface between Owner, architect and subcontractors on a weekly basis to clarify and review design issues. change orders and submittals. - Document Management - Set up Box, Bluebeam, BIM 360 prior to project start up.- Trade Coordination of MEPF systems using BIM Glue, navisworks (clash detection) and Revit. - Processing change orders and maintaining a log categorized by risk level for periodic review with senior management. - Planning and scheduling daily, weekly duties. Assist the super int'd with look ahead schedules. - Review baseline schedule against updated construction schedules. - Update the super intendent of changes to schedules. - Assist super int'd with labor power required on site. - Assist Construction Manager with procurement, logistics planning, material delivery to sites. - Log and track daily reports from the subs on site and submit to owner and maintain for record. - Prepare submittals, transmittals and RFI’s and change orders, review and submit to GC and Owner. - Assist Foreman with materials accounting on delivery. - Develop and submit monthly cost reports and billings. - Create (LDR) Labor distribution reports and forecast future costs, work hours completed, work hours remaining and the delta every week. - Assist in final commissioning, clear change orders and submit project permits. - Quality control and quality assurance, punch list walk with owner and architect - Assist in project closeouts process, track. log and secure LEED accreditation for the project.
