* Floating RFQs in line with the purchase request from the projects department.* Responsible for evaluating the supplier's offers in terms of commercial and technical requirement.* Prudently negotiate with vendors with intentions to provide best price and other terms, Prepare and issue approved purchase orders, Liaise with logistics department & organizedeliveries to project sites/stores.* Expedite material deliveries for critical projects, Ensure products and supplies are of high quality.* Follow and enforce the company’s procurement policies and procedures.* Make suitable recommendations about new vendors when necessary, Improve supply chain efficiency and meet budgetary goals.* Foster strong Enhancing business relationship with vendors. * Develop and implement near and long term procurement plans that meet and deliver the strategic and operational objectives.* Responsible for maintaining purchasing documents in company’s server.* Take initiative to clear the vendor payment dues by Collaborating with Accounts payable team.* Resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries.* Provide supplier spend reports and KPIs to the supervisor / Management.* Drive cost savings through negotiations & implementation of process improvement.
