I am a Trade & Supply Chain Finance expert with over 25 years of experience working in banks and fintech startups. Have in-depth expertise in all aspects of the trade and supply chain finance - this includes Invoice Financing, Factoring, Payable Finance, FI Trade, Risk Distribution, Structured Trade and associated regulatory, technology and operations related areas. Have worked in different banks in India, Indonesia and Singapore in leadership roles managing the trade business with P&L responsibility. I have a very good understanding of the various fintech initiatives revolutionizing the traditional world of trade, the issues involved and the myriad challenges faced by a startup. I love the energy and the ability to 'make a difference' in a startup environment - I was part of the founding team of CCRManager, an award winning fintech platform for banks to buy and sell trade & working capital risk in the secondary market. Am currently leading Secured Document Exchange - a blockchain based platform to enable digitalization of any paper based B2B journey. I also advised a large Singapore based fund on setting up a SCF program from scratch in partnership with a leading fintech with the aim of bridging the financing gap faced by Singapore SMEs.I have been an invited to participate in industry conferences on trade and have also enjoyed sharing my expertise in trade and supply chain finance with students at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore as a guest lecturer.
