Born in 2017, LdotR has a simple mission - make internet a safer place for users and brands alike.  Our mission statement has helped us navigate, survive, and thrive to become one of the largest players in Online Brand Protection (OBP) in the Indian subcontinent. Like most startups we also had a very humble beginning and a right pivot at the right time brought us to where we are today. LdotR started as an exclusive authorized agent for Trademark Clearing House (TMCH) in India. We were and still are the only company offering such services to Indian business and brands.  But after talking with many brand owners, we realized that there is very low awareness about online brand protection in India and more so about domain names. Thus after our initial successes with few brands we had to pivot to survive and that when we started focusing on the complete range of online brand protection services across all digital platforms – domains, social media, e-commerce, and app stores.   The new wave of 5g and the internet moving from 2.0 to 3.0 will open new channels for threat actors to abuse brands and harm customers and consumers. We at LdotR are rapidly developing new technologies to stay one step ahead of these threat actors and protect the brand proactively.
