My responsibilities include: - Checking details on the reports of the Front Office and Housekeeping departments.-Being observant for errors and making corrections.-Do analysis of the Cashier's Audit Report submitted and tally it with the attachments like Front Office Vouchers and Official Receipts.-Settlement of Terminals for the use of Credit card and Debit card transactions.-Reviewing in-house list of the Hotel if room type, rate code and rate amount accord with each other.-Do final output for revenue of the day considering fully booked status or not, and also a forecast of revenue for the next day.- Discrepancy searching and summarizing of audit findings.-Being a Night Auditor is important because generated revenues must be known and transparent to the Executives, as to monitor the operation of the business.- In the audit findings reported, i have to remain firm and stand still on my findings. Complaints from the erring personnel must be addressed well so they will understand what their errors are.- Though it requires to be strict on every detail of the my duty, I still had to be lenient at some points like giving reminders to person responsible and to charge punishment directly.- Have open communication with my superiors and have had express concerns for the progression of my performance as an effective Auditor.

-As a bank trainee, I was assigned at The Booking and Reconciling Unit (BRU).-I mostly perform reconciling of the actual Cashier's Check and the duplicate copy, considering the check number and amount.-Also, I do accounting of the daily Teller's Totals of the bank and tally it with the attached deposit slips, withdrawals slips, checks and checks from inter bank transactions. Checking of the attachments was done for the 11 branches of Metrobank being monitored by our BRU branch.-Office errands such as photocopying of documents, cutting of bond papers and answering phone calls weree also part of my duty.-I do also encode some management profiles.-Sort and file documents.-And classify those that are for storage or detsruction document files.-I do also, encoding of Debit and Credit Memos.-While there at the Metrobank, we are required to keep Confidentially on every detail of a single transaction, and had to keep the customer's trust for the Bank.
