- Studied the effects of temperature on interspecies contact rates at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya using a 2-year camera trapping dataset- Extracted hourly temperature data from camera trapping photographs using tesseract in R studio and cross-referenced them with the Nanyuki airport weather station - Collaborated with other undergraduate researchers on GitHub- Used R studio to analyze the effects of hour and temperature on interspecies contact rates- Uploaded a brief summary of results to our Zooniverse citizen science webpage- Investigating the effects of domestic animal presence on interspecies contact rates- Presented research at the Ecological Society of America conference in August 2021

- Hired as a Mosher Foundation Scholar- Working on a team to create how-to videos for community members and undergraduate researchers using iNaturalist to monitor and observe UCSB's North Campus Open Space (NCOS)- Creating and updating CCBER's Kids in Nature virtual lesson plans to include iNaturalist for monitoring the NCOS pollinator garden containing over 50 native flowering plants- Assisting nearby elementary school teachers to introduce 5th graders to community science and the NCOS pollinator garden- Promoting the use of iNaturalist on the CCBER social media, UCSB campus, and through community partnerships including the Plan Bee Project

- Removed ice plant from the Carpinteria Salt Marsh and replanted native species including Bird's Beak, Salt Grass, and Frankenia- Installed irrigation- Monitored vegetative responses and general plant upkeep- Assisted in monitoring and helping volunteers
