As a Procurment Engineer for IBM I succeeded in developing a combined understanding of complex technology or products with a continuous research of quality and cost optimisation. + Manage procurement activities for IBM Data Storage System products.+ Manage Failure Analysis meetings and help test engineers understand technical problems.+ Lead conf calls with suppliers to make them aware of testing problems and drive multidisciplinary teams to sort out the failures.+ Influence and negotiate with suppliers to obtain cost reduction and higher product performances.
