Viviana is a, “Jack of all trades”, she is multi talented in: academics, computer coding languages, leadership, sports, art and, humbly helps and serves her community. Viviana York is a dedicated and passionate Computer Science major at Tuskegee University. Throughout her academic journey, she has shown a strong commitment to her field through various internships, leadership roles, and community service. Her technical skills include programming languages like C++ and Python. In addition to her technical experience, she has held several leadership positions. As President of the Black Student Union and Vice President of the National Honor Society at Phoenix Coding Academy, she founded the Phoenix Coding Academy Girl Ambassadors and served as the Sustainability Officer of the student government. Viviana is actively involved in several organizations at Tuskegee University, including the National Society of Black Engineers, House of Visionaries, Black College Ministries, Association for Computing Machinery, and the Society of Women Engineers. She also serves as the Social Media Chairman for the Louisiana Club. Community service is a significant part of her life, and she has accumulated over 300 hours of volunteer work. She has been recognized for her achievements with numerous awards, including the Girl Scout Gold Award. She is also a Cargill Scholar and a member of The National Society of Leadership and Success. Her diverse skill set, coupled with her leadership and community involvement, positions her as a well-rounded individual ready to make significant contributions in the tech industry.
