Murrow Award) at CTV News Toronto, where she produced nightly news features and newscasts for 15 years.Vivian’s strong television background enables her to easily connect with families and inspire transformational multi-million-dollar gifts and bequests for the charities she has worked with throughout her philanthropic career. In 2014, she embraced the opportunity to lead DCF in Durham Region, the place she has called home for more than 40 years. Since joining DCF, Vivian has significantly increased both the endowment and bequest contribution levels to increase the organization's grantmaking capacity and ensure long term sustainability. She has also expanded the Foundation's work to further support the charitable sector in the region by facilitating ED peer support groups, providing learning opportunities for organizations and helping charities build capacity.
