What I wish for my colleagues to say about me is “if you give it to Vivian, she will get it done”. I distinguish myself through my strategic mindset, my endurance as well as my calm character.These skills have been fortified in the last 5 years through three shaping experiences. Firstly, my academic pursuits at the University of St. Gallen (HSG). Where my ambition and drive are nurtured by the constant challenges I get to tackle. One example thereof is my bachelor thesis ("Applying Porter and Kramer’s concept of Shared Value Creation to the private sector of Colombia for a better management of the Venezuelan migration") where was able to combine my passion for international management, the Latin American culture, and macroeconomic contexts. A second noteworthy experience testament to my skills, is my constant part-time employment parallel to my studies. My current role as a consultant in the financial services tax team at KPMG Switzerland requires precise form of work and a high level of self-organization, as I advise financial service providers in complex Swiss and international tax matters. The third pivotal experience is my exchange semester in Colombia, demanding of me to get by in an unknown environment and teaching me many valuable lessons for life, such as the importance of having fun along the way.
