I am a graduate of History and International Relations. I currently work as a graduate assistant were I prepare course work materials and ensure student projects are efficiently carried out. I tutor undergraduate students, assess, grade and record their semester sheets. Working as a high school teacher gave me the experience and skill to navigate my current job which helped me realize the importance of education and then need to aspire more in other to advance in my career and current job from a graduate assistant to a junior lecturer.Having studied history, I have few written articles and a book titled "The Nigeria Briafran War and it's Aftermaths on the Survivors". This book clearly talks about the events of the Nigerian civil which led to the demise of so many lives with children getting kidnapped, beaten, raped, starved and left to die. I find solace in writing which is why furthering my Education is part of my life goals so as to be able to learn various writing techniques and transition to different genres with ease. I intend joining the list of prolific writers in my country like Chinua Achebe, Adichie chimammanda. Thereby putting my country on the road map. My goal is to establish a writing academy where I will be able to impact aspiring writers with the knowledge I intend to gain from my degree.Vivian is passionate about the girl child education were 60% of kids are out of school with the mentality that education is a scam. This is why I volunteer with the school outreach program were my team and I speak and motivate them to strive harder, I assist in organizing debates, quiz and spelling bee competitions with the winners and the children going home with academic materials and groceries so as to remind them about the importance of education.I write for blogs and double as a social media manager. I love traveling, reading and watching series. I find reading therapeutic.
