• Develop and implements HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. • Develop, administer, and maintain employee benefit programs. • Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resources policies and procedures. • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and other issues. • Manage all employees of the department. • Responsible for the preparation and processing of the bi-weekly payroll. • Responsible for managing the workflow to ensure payroll and benefit transactions are processed accurately and timely. • Responsible for the performance management, hiring and termination of the employees within the department. • Conduct exit interviews of all terminated/departing employees. • Participates in CEO, administrative staff meetings and attends seminars and HR related workshops. • Ensure and maintain legal compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations throughout human resource management. • Coaches, consults, educates, and provides guidance to senior leadership regarding the areas of Human Resource operations, performance management, physician/staff relations, team development, HR policies, benefits and compensation, diversity, and EEO.• Conduct HR investigations and bring resolutions to Compliance and HR issues.• Visits all of Sanitas’ facilities and departments on a periodic basis to monitor morale, and the general health of human resources; manages employee services such as the employee communications, and employee recreational and morale enhancing social events.• Analyzes trends regarding turnover, hiring, promotions, workers’ compensation claims, unemployment claims, separations, and grievances to determine action needed to adjust unfavorable trends. Prepares periodic and ad-hoc reports for executive team and others.• Other duties as assigned by senior management.
