Responsibilities Penetrate Aeneon-branded DRAM module into Southeast Asia and establish channel in Vietnam, Indonesia, and Philippines.  Detect business opportunities and expand product portfolios of IT related products for the European market. Jointly set up in-house DRAM module production line to be more competitive in terms of cost and lead-time. Accomplishments Build up a business model to lower 20% cost for flash related products and DVB-T sticks. Introduce DRAM components sorting process to gain 50% more profit. Increase revenue $500K/M by implement in-house rework process.

AMtek, a fabless IC design house specializing in motor driver ICs for DVD players/multi-functional printer/fan applications, was a start-up established by former colleagues of Philips Semiconductors. Lead a team of three reporting to Chairman.Responsibilities  Explore worldwide wafer foundry (TSMC, ASMC, Episil), IC packaging & testing houses (SPIL, OSE, Lingson, TMC, TICP, Naton Fuji, CJ electronic, TIAN SHUI HUA TIAN) and deal with all engineering issues associated.  Establish Quality system and product quality management system, regularly audit subcontractors and negotiate price with subcontractors. Accomplishments Achieve cost reduction of 5% per quarter with technical knowledge and project management skill. Eliminate US$30 millions claimed by Sharp against defect components adopted in Sharp’s multi-function printers.  Lead the company to obtain ISO 9001:2000 certificates in 6-month period.
