Working as a senior manager in the OCI Operations Platform observability org. Our goal is to stabilize OCI through metrics, data, and observability by identifying unhealthy signals via machine learning and handling large scale outages.Previously working in Oracle Health and AI on the OHAI Container Service, whose focus is the deployment pipeline and maintenance of the kubernetes clusters that will run the cerner application and next Gen applications for the healthcare org. Our goal is to have our service be available to OHAI applications in all regions and all realms from public to secret. Previously my team and I work on the M&A of the financial services of Cerner's products. We were starting on a journey to stabilize, allow scaling, and be compliant with all regions and levels of security.Prior to the Cerner acquisition, my team and I were working on OCI's FHIR service, with an eye towards world wide scaling and full compliance.

- Created oncall documentation and material for the company. Slowly working on onboarding the engineering organization.- Run the platform organization's weekly demo update for the engineering org- Managing engineers across two different time zones in two different countries (SF, USA and Mendoza, Argentina)- Switched to the platform organization to work with the Devtools Infrastructre team after investigating the source of the company's slow product delivery and realizing that the code delivery pipeline, lack of containerization, and disparate environments were the source of major project delays. - Successfully rolled out repeating events features to all users and worked with design and product to come up with bulk creation/edits initiative- Have coached and trained new managers through difficult situations, D&I hiring, management processes, etc- Drove initiative to perform root cause analysis on all critical customer issues, resulting in a reduction of the MTTR from 350 days to 9 days- After reorganization, managed 10 engineers across 2 teams as part of a non-Matrix structure- Handled move of the checkout team off of the checkout feature and onto the company’s top future roadmap priority of improving tools that would empower creators- Drove the funding and management of a frontend engineering education tool (Frontend Masters) that quickly leveled up juniors on fundamental engineering concepts- Managed a tiger team that worked on leadership’s top priority experiments- Coordinated between the Europe Head of Engineering and Europe Customer Support in order to create an engineering triage team in their time zone.- Coordinated with four teams across 3 time zones in order to transfer knowledge and responsibility of the checkout system. - Managed 5 engineers across 3 teams as part of a Matrix structure

- As tech lead: planned, coordinated, and architected a new tiered pricing flow that assigned organizers into different packages that suited their event needs. Project delivery on time, exceeded projected monetary goals 3x projections- Acted as temporary Manager during pricing tier project release. Responsibilities included delivering core code, coordination between several engineering teams and being held accountable for their deliverables, communication with stakeholders, and onboarding a senior engineering teammate from the Ticketfly acquisition that was happening at the same time.- Acquired Scrum Master certification

- Identified potential organizers through analysis of attendee behavioral tracking data- Created targeted email campaigns for attendees that could become organizers- Worked closely with marketing and sales teams to build high value tracking and surveys that helped the product organization improve product strategy- Worked with stakeholders and branding, refactored and rewrote Eventbrite’s frontpage and listing pages- Worked with salesforce engineers in order to develop a salesflow that would track and provide data to salesforce to further enable the sales team and our organizer targeting initiatives

- Web development on an internal management system that coordinated meals between caterers and prospective clients

- Migrated entire legacy website from using Clearsilver, Python scripts, and BerkeleyDB to Django with MySQL- Developed an internal interface with Amazon's Mechanical Turk to filter out pornographic user-provided content in order to fulfill advertiser contract requirements- Architected the polls, maps, lookbooks features and editorial tools/CMS for StyleBistro, the style subsection of Livingly - Created a cross domain login system that worked across Livingly’s entertainment, style, and lifestyle sites- Worked with Microsoft in a partnership to create an interface that used Bing Maps to overlay professional celebrity photography at different locations on Bing Maps- Migrated all of Lonny Magazine within 3 months of acquisition by Livingly- Developed a custom March Madness Bracket feature that earned the site over 1 million impressions in 1 day- Developed a CMS that allowed editors to customize articles shown across the site

- Wrote sample user guide applications for DekiWiki- Implemented a php extension for DekiWiki, so that users could use php scripts to interface with DekiWiki features.- Learned and wrote up a Section 508 readiness analysis prior to DekiWiki's audit for government contractors

Worked on server side mapping for a NASA collaboration non-profit located on UCSD campus that taught school children how mission control operated and processed ISS images they requested in order to follow global changes as part of their curriculum
