Downer EDI Limited (Downer) is a leading provider of engineering and infrastructure management services to customers operating in market sectors including Minerals & Metals, Oil & Gas, Power, Road & Rail Infrastructure, Telecommunications and Water. A key project of mine was to lead the recruitment team (white and blue collar) for the Shiploader 1 & 2 projects. This project involved upgrading two conveyors, along with the deconstruction of the existing ship loaders in Port Hedland, which was worth approximately $60 million. Prior to this role, I held the position of Senior Business Partner Recruitment, acting as the main point of contact for senior leaders and site stakeholders within the Maintenance and Services area to deliver high quality resource staff in line with strategic objectives, project budgets and timeframes.
