Frontiers of Science Institute was a 6-week residential research program at the University of Northern Colorado where I was mentored under Dr. James Haughain and Brian Krum, primarily focusing on the effect of exercise on regulatory T cells in rat mammary adenocarcinoma spleen and tumor samples through Foxp3 and CD25 pathways. During this experience, a literature review and research paper were written, and a formal presentation in front of peers and professional members of the scientific community was conducted.
