I am currently a JD candidate at American University Washington College of Law, with a degree from Indiana University Bloomington. I double majored in Public Policy and Law, Ethics, and Decision Making, and minored in Political Science. As a passionate leader, I actively seek out leadership roles. At AUWCL, I serve as a Program Deputy for Law Students for Government and Public Affairs. Additionally, I will be the Chief of Staff for the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) in the upcoming school year. In both positions, I leverage my leadership experience and collaboration skills to create opportunities for my peers.Helping those less fortunate has always been a core belief of mine—an obligation rather than a choice. This commitment is reflected in my volunteer work and career aspirations. I am currently a legal intern for the non profit CEO, whose goal is to disrupt structures of oppression by providing youth and young adults of color with opportunities of meaningful employment and political engagement. I aim to give back to communities affected by poverty and inequality further through advocacy and public policy changes. By combining my business and law degrees, I plan to drive impactful change and support those in need.
