Vivienne Lee Bechtold is an MIT grad with 27 years as a strategic marketer at Procter & Gamble, achieving the title of Harley Procter Marketer, the highest distinction at P&G, awarded to only 12 marketers in company history. She has a mix of experience in traditional line/P&L roles, global Category roles, and Marketing Excellence/capability focused roles. Vivienne worked directly for Jim Stengel when he was GMO and she operated as his “chief of staff” and led the Marketing Excellence organization that delivered training via Marketing University and built the Marketing community globally. She also has extensive experience globally, including a three-year assignment working in Japan focused on Marketing capability building for Asia. In her last assignment, Vivienne led the marketing capability program for the Beauty half of P&G’s global business, and worked in the Olay brand franchise organization and upstream innovation space across Beauty brands including Olay, SK- II, Cover Girl, Old Spice and Safeguard. Since leaving P&G, Vivienne has enjoyed consulting across many industries including food & beverage, home security, insurance, household goods, and financial/tax preparation.
