Motive Offshore, comprising of Motive Engineering and Motive Rentals, is a manufacturing and rental company, specialising in high capacity winches, umbilical deployment equipment and specialised subsea equipment.My role as Marketing & PR Coordinator involved initiating and coordinating all associated marketing and PR for the Motive Offshore Group, reporting directly to the CEO and Board of Directors. I successfully coordinated and delivered a full organisation rebranding project, working with designers and marketing consultants to develop the new brand in line with organisational values and strengths. I worked hard to enhance the company's profile online and offline. I was responsible for online and social media marketing, producing new creative and applying it to marketing materials and sourcing and placing advertisements in industry publications. I worked with a web designer to create and introduce a full new website for the company and am responsible for updating and maintaining content, along with implementing SEO enhancements and Google AdWords campaigns. I also researched and coordinated PR content for various media channels. I booked and organised stands at various industry exhibitions and events, including ONS in Norway and Offshore Europe in Aberdeen. I gained a working knowledge of SalesForce CRM system to support sales and marketing functions.I was made redundant from this position on 27/11/15 due to the unfavourable oil & gas industry climate.
