I love making stuff happen, I see the vision and turn it into reality. With 15 years of professional experience I bring this energy into every role, at work and at home. What does this look like in reality? It means I have:> supported young people who struggle with behavioural difficulties to gain qualifications that have enabled them to go onto college and employment; > stepped into the role of deputy headteacher at a school for children with special educational needs when the headteacher was unexpectedly off work for a long period of time;> within two years of starting my teaching career I had rewritten the ICT and Religious Studies curriculum;> relocated our family (which include my 3 inspiring daughters, one is a baby!) to a new country;> run my first marathon, did I mention it was a mountain marathon?I am driven by a strong desire to achieve something meaningful. When I was younger I loved reaching the end goal, to see the vision become reality. This is still an important aspect but I now find the journey is where the real satisfaction lies. It's in the: researching, planning, problem solving and perseverance that I truly flourish. 1.
