I was born in a refugee camp in Malaysia, raised in Australia, and have now spent over half my life in the U.S. Moving around a lot proved to be a crash course in multiculturalism and as a result, I am a highly adaptive, curious, and relationship-driven person. I am passionate about the things that bring people closer together and connect across differences, including music, film & TV, food, storytelling, and live events. As an MBA student at USC Marshall, my studies concentrated on marketing, customer insights, and brand strategy, building on my expertise in creative operations, editorial strategy, and cultural trends.In my role as a Brand Manager at The Wall Group (a division of Endeavor), I managed a team responsible for communicating and marketing the talents of 350+ artists in the world of beauty and fashion, collaborating cross-functionally with our teams across L.A., N.Y., London, and Paris. Our work included brand positioning, web development, content management, sales enablement, asset management, and more. I also helped spearhead the company’s first-ever mentorship incubator for emerging creatives, which was then replicated and expanded upon elsewhere within the Endeavor family. Previously, I was a magazine editor managing assignments covering music, film, restaurants, and cocktails. I have also had the privilege of servicing clients in those same realms as a publicist and account manager working with clients as diverse as Do LaB (Woogie Weekend, Coachella), Wonderfruit - Thailand, Further Future, Sir Richard Branson’s Extreme Tech Challenge, and more. Organizations I’ve volunteered for, who address educational equity, food access, and AAPI advocacy: Degrees of Change, Leadership Education for Asian Pacifics (LEAP), Little Tokyo Service Center, and API Forward Movement.
