Myself an strong analytical and enthusiastic engineer committed towards the protection of Embedded and IoT devices, making them secure & reliable devices, having total 7.2 YOE, comprising 3.8 years in Embedded/IoT Security Testing & 3.6 years in Embedded Software Development & Testing. I work at the intersection of hardware and software (embedded systems), an area I explored both in my professional experience formation and educational formation. This is reflected by my two degrees, Bachelors in Electronics & Communication Engineering and a Masters in Embedded Systems. I believe in, to be as effective as possible in your role, you need to be a T-shaped individual - deep in your area of expertise but knowledgeable in other areas across your business, in a nutshell need to know domain specific knowledge and system knowledge.Professional Journey over the time: As part of Diploma industrial training, small tenure at Roshini Microsystems as an PCB Assembly Trainee has given good knowledge and understanding on usage of electronics, PCB assembling process, PCB manufacturing process, in turn helped me in understanding the hardware manufacturing.After Graduation, my professional journey started at L&T Technology Services (LTTS) as a embedded software engineer, which grounded my understanding of embedded systems are being developed and tested, and also helped to gain knowledge on "Security in Embedded and IoT devices."With past experience, was in search to work in new avenues, got an opportunity to be moved and continued my professional career at the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) as an IoT Security R&D Engineer which given me good knowledge on embedded system and its security.Experience in Embedded/IoT security made me curious to explore new domains in security, got an opportunity to work, worked as Embedded/IoT Security Engineer at GE Healthcare. Here the nature of work involves exploring, enhancing and securing the GE Healthcare products and its ecosystem through security assessment.Currently working as a product security engineer at carrier global.
