I am an elementary educator passionate about purposefully integrating 1:1 technology to foster 21st century skills, personalize learning, and connect my students with the world. I believe my success as a teacher in an economically-disadvantaged and culturally diverse school is due to my positive attitude, consistent high expectations and meaningful relationships I establish with all my students. I take pride in creating highly engaging, culturally relevant learning experiences that result not only in academic achievement but a love of learning. I believe every child, every day deserves a safe, supportive and fun classroom that values lifelong learning, a growth mindset, and making a difference in the world.
