Working as a Senior Design and Release engineer and later on as Design Lead Engineer in Emission Control Systems (exhaust) for Commercial Off-Road Vehicles. Responsible for the Aftertreatment Systems of the exhaust emissions in Diesel engines including Diesel Oxidation Catalysts (DOC), Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) and Selective Catalytic Reduction systems (SCR). Coordinate and lead designs, prototype and production manufacturing of said systems.

• Responsible for design and release of transmission cross member, transfer case skid plate, jacks and tow hooks for Super Duty truck in the Chassis department. Leading new designs, modifying current design to achieve quality, weight, cost and functional targets. Involved in CAD, prototyping, testing, manufacturing and assembly.• Responsible for design and release for all jacking systems for Body on Frame vehicles (F150/250/350/450/550, Expedition/Navigator, Explorer, E-series, Ford Crown Victoria). Working on existing and future models, addressing packaging issues, quality, cost, testing, prototypes, etc.• Work as a design and release engineer in Chassis department at Ford for various programs (Explorer, Expedition, Escape, Focus). Owned the design of the front and rear sub-frame on Focus during 2005 and 2006. Working on suspension components, mostly with frames/sub-frames. Involved in brand new designs, modified designs and cost reduction projects. Very knowledgeable with Ford systems (testing, project tracking, releasing, CAD, etc.).

• Design of Mechanisms for the 2nd row seat on a Mercedes Crossover. Easy-Entry and fold to floor mechanisms.• Structural and kinematic analysis to ensure predictive engineering • Working on new concept 6-way power seat adjuster using mid motor horizontal drive and new linear vertical actuators to achieve improved sound, quality, packaging and low cost. Packaging various motors, adjusters and recliners into various seating projects.Gearing analysis and packaging of a rotary recliner.

• Prototype testing and seat structure design. Part of Advance Engineering department and involved in developing a Core Product Portfolio for car seats. Including: base seat back, base seat frame, base seat power adjuster, manual adjuster, variety of seat recliners and seat back folding mechanisms for use in standard applications.

• Beny-Alex SRL is a company that performs activities such as cars overhauling and periodical vehicle safety inspection and trading of vehicle components. I was responsible to supervise and lead activities such as inspection, test and repair of virtually every component of the vehicle. Also, I was responsible for acquisitions of equipment and manage the budget to be able to perform such activities. Lead the implementation of a ISO 9002 quality certified process; develop the Quality Manual, procedures and forms used by the company to achieve ISO 9002 certification.
