Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women being one of them incorporated a Section 8 Company – ‘IGDTUW-Anveshan Foundation’ towards all startups and incubation related activities on 13th October 2016.I am working with ‘IGDTUW-Anveshan Foundation’ as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) from 24th January 2017. Initially ‘Anveshan’ was funded by Government of NCT of Delhi (GNCTD). Eventually, Anveshan was recognized and funded by Department of Science & Technology (DST), GoI as ‘Technology Business Incubator’ under scheme NIDHI. Anveshan has also received Grant under SISFS of Startup India Section, DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce & Industry.In my tenure, Anveshan has conducted several ‘Women Entrepreneurship Program/ Cohorts/ Acceleration Programs’ supported by various ministries/ departments/ international agencies/ corporate CSR/ own revenue in the online & physical mode inviting aspirant women entrepreneurs.Total Fifty-one Incubatees & more than two hundred pre-incubatees along with 2000+ mentees are facilitated with all the state of art facilities including Cubical offices, Co-working spaces, ICT Facility, IPR facilitation, mentorship & handholding supports. Seed Funds against equity, grant & soft loan are provided to all the interested/ eligible incubatees.Anveshan has signed fruitful association with internationally reputed Organizations & other universities/ colleges (to disseminate entrepreneurial culture) pan India.
