* Presently associated with Sojitz-CBMM as Technical Consultant to provide technical support towards alloy design and processing of Niobium microalloyed steel.* Former Head of Product Area and responsible for development and coordination of entire special steel product development activities across SAIL including API Line Pipe Steel, Earthquake & Corrosion Resistant TMT Rebar, High Strength Q & T Plates, Fire Resistant Steel, CRGO Steel.* Long experience in simulation studies through Gleeble System leading to new steel product development, process optimization and quality/ yield improvement. * Trained on Operation of Thermo-mechanical Simulator (Gleeble-3500C) at Dynamic Systems Inc., USA and looking after the Thermo-mechanical Simulation Laboratory. * Provided Technical Assistance to SABIC Technology Centre at Saudi Arabia in 2004 on Operation & Applications of Gleeble System and later provided similar training to a team from SABIC Technology Centre at RDCIS, SAIL in 2005. * External expert/ advisor to Institute of Plasma Research, Gandhinagar, DMRL Hyderbad, NML Jamshedpur, IIT Madras and LPSC Trivendrum for creation of Thermo-mechanical Simulation Facility.* More than 250 papers published/ presented in National and Int.l Journal/ Conferences.
