This cloud application is a Chemical Informatics System and a professional network for students to learn chemistry, teachers to teach chemistry, chemical professionals and chemical scientists to search, research, analyze and create molecular structure graphics. This is a platform where chemical scientists and researchers will communicate, share, and discuss their research findings. Young chemistry students will be able to learn chemistry. Chemistry teachers and professors will use the tools available on this to teach chemistry. It’s also chemical structure search system where a chemist can enter a molecular structure (graphically) and search for chemicals and their properties (chemical, physical, & medical) and rich multimedia content attached to them. It uses machine learning to predict properties of chemicals from a database of known chemicals. This project was exhibited at the American Chemical Society national meetings at Boston from Aug 16 through 20, 2015; from Mar 13 thru 18th 2016 at San Diego and from August 21 thru 25th 2016 in Philadelphia, PA. My parents were terminally ill and I wanted to provide the necessary care and spend time with them during the final days of their life.

My responsibility is to provide technical solutions and make sure the solution I provide is implemented correctly to meet the goals of the gridSMART® (Smart Grid) project. gridSMART is a strategic project of AEP that is anticipated to dramatically improve its business by enabling it to accurately monitor, forecast and manage electricity demands. This project brings substantial benefits to its customers also. Customers can manage the power consumption (and thus the expense) by closely monitoring its use and interval pricing. It is an ambitious project of AEP, which is partly funded by the DOE. The third beneficiary is the environment which ends up polluted less. I am proud to be part of gridSMART.

Position - PresidentThis is a project to migrate applications from Broad Vision to WebShpere Application Server. The current application is implemented using J2EE, JSP, and Oracle 9. I am playing the role of a senior lead developer, responsible for architecture, and development. I am fully responsible for a core module of the application.

I served on AEP's strategic project to standardize on Asset Suite (AS) for Enterprise Asset Management (EAM). EAM manages contracts, work orders, supply chain, and procurement. Documentum (DCTM) is the enterprise document management software for AEP. The documents (Request for Quote, Vendor Bid Response, Contract, Work Order, Work Order Package, Purchase Order, Material Safety Data Sheet [MSDS], and Invoice) created and used by EAM are stored in Documentum. As a side project, a J2EE based portal application was created to search and retrieve MSDS. I played the role of a senior lead developer, responsible for architecture, development, and integration.

Rosetta Marketing Group’s main focus is to help its customers to improve their e-commerce business. I was hired as a technology manager to architect web based applications using WebSphere Commerce (WC). The user interface was developed using Google Web Toolkit (GWT) for high user interaction. GWT provides an easy way to write AJAX applications that enriches user experience.

Served in multiple roles. As president of the company I have been instrumental to its growth over 14 years. Served a number of clients to successfully complete their software development projects and gain strategic advantage over their competitors.

I was a senior architect/developer on OCLC's WebJunction project. WebJunction serves a community of librarians and library users to collaborate online . It was used to store, search and retrieve documents related to library management, online courses, and training materials. It also helped as an online forum for discussion among the users.

I was a senior Java/Web consultant for TekSystems to serve in roles like senior JEE developer and JEE/Web architect. Through TekSystems I have served multiple clients like AEP, US Bank, Sterling Commerce, Synoran, and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield during different time frames (2000 to 2010).

 Took full accountability for gathering requirements, design, technology selection, architecture, infrastructure, and implementation of FASB-133 – a J2EE based web application, on time.  This made Key Bank as one of the few financial institutions that became FASB-133 compliant on time; a mandatory step to continue its hedge funds management operation. Implemented a statistical analysis package that was critical to the application that helped the hedge funds management to hedge various investments by Key Bank. This helped to avoid buying an off the shelf software package and saved Key Bank millions of dollars in recurring licensing fee. It also freed two full time employees for other duties, providing additional savings in operations.  The statistical package and the whole application were audited and approved by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) for accuracy, security and reliability. Directed a team of 5 developers through design and development. Mentored a team of developers of client (Key Bank) for the maintenance phase.

I was leading a team of C++/CORBA developers to implement STAT 99, an application for Customer Relationship Management, Order Management, and Billing Management.
