I've dedicated over 12 years empowering marginalized and vulnerable groups, with a recent focus on enhancing employability through strategic collaborations with employers and community organizations. Notably, I partnered with other organizations, orchestrating job fairs for the Richmond Centre for Disability (RCD), drawing in over 600 attendees. My journey has encompassed diverse roles, spanning from customer service to project management, leadership, mentoring, and training individuals, as well as planning and organizing events. Guiding and leading over 150 staff and volunteers, I consistently find fulfillment in helping others. It is my goal to understand their needs and implement both proactive and reactive strategies to improve their lives. In turn, I have shared this knowledge, teaching others to effectively serve the community.I am inspired to help others find the right employment opportunity to be independent, self-determined, and empowered. While engaging with community advocates, municipalities, employers and job seekers in British Columbia, I've learned the importance of adapting to unique needs with diverse circumstances. I invite you to share your stories, connect, or explore potential collaborations as we continue this journey together.
