AmeriKick Martial Arts is a Kempo Based Self Defense Program that is organized into a structured curriculum to help the community to learn how to defend themselves in dangerous situations. Kempo is an ongoing style that is always updated to fit today’s modern world. For Kids, it teaches them how to be self disciplined and respectful, while having fun learning and always getting motivated to learn something new. Our main goal is not to have our students learn how to kick and punch, it is to teach them how to be more motivated and confident in themselves. To respect their elder, know when to talk and not interrupt.. Discipline! We teach our students to be future leaders, and not followers with our LEADERSHIP program, our Demonstration and Competition team.For Adults, we offer 3 separate programs: Adult Kempo, Mixed Martial Arts and Ladies Kickboxing classes. Adult Kempo focuses on the philosophy of Kempo self defense. Mixed Martial Arts focuses on Kickboxing, wrestling and Joint locks. It is also a very intense and educational class. Our Ladies Kickboxing class is only for Ladies. This class is designed to lose weight, tone up, relieve a lot of stress and feel strong again.

At only 21 years of age, Sensei Vlad, may be the youngest karate school owner in Staten Island. Sensei Vlad is a Brooklyn College graduate with a bachelor's degree in management and finance. With a Minor in Psychology. Sensei Vlad was a collegiate wrestling champion in scholastic, freestyle and greco styles. Sensei Vlad placed first in his weight class in New York City's PSAL Wrestling Championships in 2004 and 2005; and in an earlier citywide competition, he led (as captain) the FDR High School wrestling team( Brooklyn) to a first-place victory for 3 years in a row. In 2005, Sensei Vlad was awarded the Heisman Award, voted as the city's top and most valuable wrestler of the year. Sensei Vlad had won Numerous Championship in Karate tournament taking 1st places in NYS Championship in 2012, AKL International Tournament Champion in his Weight Division. Top contender in Sport Karate (point Figthing). Undefeated in the MMA Cage figts 2 wins 0 losses. Fluent in weapons training with Bo staff, nun chucks, kamas, kali/escrima, and more. Sensei Vlad is Currently a 3rd Dan in Kenpo Karate (Promoted with High Marks). Sensei Vlad Currently owns and Operates 2 locations in Staten Island. Since Opening the doors to his schools, Sensei Vlad had developed numerous state, national and international kid division champions. Adult division top 3 placements in their divisions.
