I work directly with startups and small businesses to assess their operations and business goals. I design and develop salable, low-maintenance solutions to solve their business needs -- for instance, to improve operations or increase overall revenue. I strongly believe the tech should work around the business need. Because of this, I've worked with a multitude of tech frameworks & platforms. I've directly developed with: Vue / Nuxt, Java / Struts, Ruby on Rails, Shopify.

I lead the front-end development of a Java web application, its responsive design, overall aesthetics and usability. I'm actively involved in the stack and development of the application, as well as overall architecture and security. I collaborate directly with our client to develop scalable solutions as well as intuitive user interfaces. I lead high-visibility proposals and demos on behalf of our team. I research new paradigms and technology to enhance application performance and delight our users.

Along with my team, I conceptualized and implemented a low-cost, secure system for automated, *stationless* bike rentals. It was pretty cool for the time. We built our entire prototype out of a $2k grant, spare server parts and a dozen rebuilt abandoned bikes. We developed an efficient process for mobile fleet maintenance, safety checks and user support. I co-developed our application for fleet management and user interaction. I also co-developed our first sales model, presented and sold first production system. Once in production, I developed our operations model and managed day-to-day operations and bike maintenance. Eventually, we deployed a professional system and ultimately, open-sourced our model.
