I managed the LabVIEW FPGA teams in Romania (http://www.ni.com/labview/fpga/). The NI LabVIEW FPGA Module extends the LabVIEW graphical development platform to target FPGAs on NI reconfigurable I/O (RIO) hardware. LabVIEW FPGA provides a graphical programming approach that simplifies the task of writing hardware designs that can be used on FPGA's instead of writing HDL code. The teams I managed were working on all areas of LabVIEW FPGA from the editor, the compiler to digital design. My role was to make sure people grow professionally by driving promotions, offer guidance and conducting performance reviews as well as overseeing the activity of the project managers and helping them grow in their role. I worked closely with the branch manager and initiated or participated to branch level initiatives such as employee compensation, relocation to a better office space, upgrading the work environment or establishing and improving processes.
