Later I worked as an administrator of ORT-Keshernet computer centers in Ukraine.In 2006 I coordinated the PK Next Generation program in Ukraine training girls and women to become leaders and apply their leadership skills in Jewish educational and social programs implemented by youth groups and organizations.In 2010 I participated in Project Incubator at Paidea (European Institute for Jewish Studies, Stockholm) and was appointed a Project Kesher program director. Successful campaigns included: “Healthy Dating” (learning about healthy versus abusive relation-ships and issues of consent; Health initiatives around reproductive health, smoking, al-cohol/drugs, body image and nutrition; community-wide campaigns to assist orphanages and underprivileged youth using local resources. Ort Keshernet Vocational Computer Center CoordinatorProject Kesher 2002 - 2005UkraineManaged the opening of 18 vocational computer centers in Belarus, Georgia, Russia and Ukraine with a budget of $650,000 (approx. $36,000 per center) over three years. Oversaw development of curriculum and established the centers’ commitment to also serving as a women’s center on topics ranging from women’s health to domestic vio-lence, trafficking in women and interfaith tolerance initiatives. To date, more than 50,000 women have graduated from the centers at a cost of less than $100 per woman with an 87% success rate – success being defined as increased self-sufficiency. The pro-ject has been recognized for its impact by HP, which has provided hardware and Mi-crosoft, which has provided software. -
