Later I worked as an administrator of ORT-Keshernet computer centers in Ukraine.In 2006 I coordinated the PK Next Generation program in Ukraine training girls and women to become leaders and apply their leadership skills in Jewish educational and social programs implemented by youth groups and organizations.In 2010 I participated in Project Incubator at Paidea (European Institute for Jewish Studies, Stockholm) and was appointed a Project Kesher program director. Project Kesher Ukraine (PKU) is part of a network of women’s groups that invests in women’s leadership and replicable programming responsive to the needs of women in each community where it operates. Starting in the Jewish community, PKU then builds inter-faith networks of women, NGO’s and government institutions to improve the status of women. PKU’s signature activities include: women’s health initiatives, gender violence advocacy and ORT KesherNet vocational training centers.

Responsible for program design, implementation and evaluation. Outreach strate-gist contacting the media and key stakeholders to advance knowledge of PKU’s pro-gramming. Represent PKU at Ukrainian governmental committee meetings regionally and nationally. Travel globally to represent PK at international professional meetings and training seminars to advance its work. Leadership Training: Designed, implemented, and facilitated leadership training pro-grams impacting the lives of 3,500 women in Belarus, Georgia, Russia and Ukraine re-sulting in 1,000 women employed in professional and lay leadership positions advocat-ing for women’s issues locally and nationally for women’s health, preventing gender vio-lence, stopping human trafficking and promoting tolerance.Women's Health: Supervises PKU’s women’s health initiative bringing women’s health campaigns on health, wellness & prevention, reproductive health and chronic disease to 70 communities in Ukraine. In 2016, engaged more than 2,000 Ukrainian women in a campaign to promote Healthy Lifestyles. Recognized nationally for engaging more than 100 Ukrainian NGO’s and government organizations in PKU’s women’s health cam-paigns. Co-founder of All-Ukrainian Coalition of Reproductive Health, uniting 26 organizations across Ukraine. Attended and sent PKU leaders to participate in seminars on reproduc-tive health.Oversees annual campaign to End Gender Violence – This year more than 80 communi-ties participated in Belarus, Russia and Ukraine, conducting a wide range of programs from community round tables to trainings and street actions. For the first time, the Ukrainian government officially supported the project and held a kick-off on the steps of the national legislature.

Designed and implemented Mother/Daughter Retreats to empower young women to lead religious and/or social activist programs for youth groups and college campus or-ganizations. Participants learned both content and group process techniques. Successful campaigns included: “Healthy Dating” (learning about healthy versus abusive relation-ships and issues of consent; Health initiatives around reproductive health, smoking, al-cohol/drugs, body image and nutrition; community-wide campaigns to assist orphanages and underprivileged youth using local resources. Managed annual budget of $100,000 and oversaw 6 full and part-time employees.

Ort Keshernet Vocational Computer Center Coordinator

Managed the opening of 18 vocational computer centers in Belarus, Georgia, Russia and Ukraine with a budget of $650,000 (approx. $36,000 per center) over three years. Oversaw development of curriculum and established the centers’ commitment to also serving as a women’s center on topics ranging from women’s health to domestic vio-lence, trafficking in women and interfaith tolerance initiatives. To date, more than 50,000 women have graduated from the centers at a cost of less than $100 per woman with an 87% success rate – success being defined as increased self-sufficiency.
