An English language teacher/translator turned project manager :)My career path took a turn some eight years ago when I started working as an intern at the Cultural Centre of Novi Sad. At first, my job was to translate different types of documents and texts, but little by little I started helping my colleagues organise events.Following this, I became part of the international relations team within the European Capital of Culture project, one of the biggest cultural projects being implemented in Europe. There, I slowly moved to assist project managers in international projects and I realised I like it :) By the end of the second year of the European Capital of Culture project in 2018, I already managed several international projects alone. Soon after I got a chance to manage EU-funded projects, as well as to lead the entire international relations team. Being in charge of the entire international relations on such a big project was an invaluable experience that helped me further develop my communication and interpersonal skills and it gave me a chance to work with and meet some amazing people.Around this time, I heard about Agile and Scrum and I started researching different ways to manage projects. This resulted in attending and finishing Google's online course for project management, which landed me an opportunity to work for Bee IT and further expand my knowledge and acquire new skills.From linguistics to culture, and then to IT, I have always been curious and enthusiastic about learning and improving. These incredible opportunities enabled me to become experienced in coordinating, planning and organising a variety of different projects. But it doesn't stop there :)I'm looking forward to learning and developing my skills and potential further.
