CurrentThe Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) is a central organization representing the interests of 79 regional chambers of commerce and industry in Germany. It acts as a key liaison between businesses and the government, advocating for policies that support economic growth and development. Responsibilities:- Developing new business model "Skilled Migration" by the German chamber network worldwide to attract skilled workforce to Germany. Organisation of skilled labour projects together with the AHKs in Morocco, Colombia, Ghana and Uzbekistan- Creating a new business model for relocation practices to support individuals and German companies with their immigration needs.- Communication and building strong relationships with German migration stakeholders such as the Federal Foreign Office, the Federal ministry for economic affairs and climate action, German Trade Fairs, German Chambers of commerce in Germany and abroad, Germany Trade and Invest, Goethe Institut.Achievements:- Launched vocational education programs in three countries within six months.- Initiated an exchange format on migration issues within the German Chamber network.- Cooperation agreement between the DIHK and the Federal Foreign Office to enhance cooperation abroad.
