Ambrosus is a decentralised platform to optimise global food and medicine supply chains using blockchain technology, smart contracts, and real-time data from sensors. Our solution allowed to track and digitally notarize the entire provenance of products and execute commercial transactions in a fully transparent, automated and secure way. - Hired and managed ~50 FTEs (engineers, product owners, UX/UI designers, QA/testers) in 5 remote product teams, negotiated contracts with 10+ offshore and nearshore partners - Architected the solution, tokenomics model, APIs and oversaw the full development lifecycle of our software and hardware solutions, IT infrastructure, SDKs, and developer program- Defined and enforced all delivery and operation processes that enabled us to scale the largest enterprise-grade blockchain platform for IoT & supply chain data (1500+ nodes/servers, 100% uptime with no hacks or intrusions since launch)- Created internal & external security policies to ensure GDPR + ISO 27001 compliance, recruited providers to perform security audits, penetration, and performance testing - Person of contact, solution architect and project lead for 10+ client projects As the technical ambassador for the project, I authored numerous documents (whitepapers, blog posts, media/PR interviews, etc.) and presented on the main stage at many major Blockchain events around the globe (WEF, Token2049, Devcon, EDCON, etc.).

Led Swisscom's digital transformation lab and rapidly positioned it as a major actor in French-speaking Switzerland. Within a year we got praised by EPFL's president as the most active corporate player on campus and showcased as a benchmark for successful industry-academia collaboration.Key activities & achievements:- Designed, launched and scaled Swisscom's first unit dedicated to digital transformation and new technologies (AI, Blockchain, IoT)- Managed the initial team and positioned the lab as pre-sales support for Swisscom's B2B sales team- Organised 150+ public & private events with clients, partners and EPFL students- Grew the most popular Meetup group in Swiss Romande with 2000 members- Attracted 40+ R&D project proposals in collaboration with various EPFL labs & Swisscom units- Organised and conducted multiple co-creation workshops with C-level executives of 50+ large Swiss companies (banking, healthcare, manufacturing, and luxury brands)- Substantially improved the perception of Swisscom as a modern and exciting company (our activities on campus directly increased by 200% internship applications from EPFL students)

As co-founder & CPO of EVRYTHNG (VC-backed IoT company, 32M+ $ total funding from Atomico, Samsung, Cisco, Dawn Capital and BHLP, 50+ employees), I led the design and development of all front-end and back-end features from drawings on a whiteboard to an industrial-grade IOT platform used by several Fortune 100 companies to manage the digital identities for billions of products.Responsibilities: - Lead the product management for our core technology, platform, and services (APIs + front-end) - Define the vision and drive the execution of our products (scoping, roadmaps, QA) - Design, architect, prototype, and deliver strategic components of our products and solutions- Manage all R&D activities (grants, developing and writing patents, coordinating EU projects, etc.)- Engage the developer community in our APIs and tools- Management for key client projects (iHome, etc.)

Pioneered Internet of Things research in large-scale, web-based architectures for distributed sensor data collection and processing for Smart Cities and Smart Factories (Industry 4.0). - My work led to the creation of the Web of Things Standardization group by the W3C- Published ~50 journal and conference articles, patents, and the book Building the Web of Things - Co-founded the webofthings.org community (>5K Twitter & >3K LinkedIn users, acquired by EVRYTHNG in 2011), evangelized our research at 30+ top academic and industry conferences

Build Smart City tools that collect, analyze, and visualize large amounts of real-time data in Singapore such as transportation (GPS traces of 20K+ taxis, incoming/outgoing flights, and container ships) and environmental (pollution, noise levels, and traffic conditions). Organized multiple workshops and wrote several journal and conference articles about large-scale sensor data collection and digital infrastructures for Smart Cities.

Collaborated on several EU-funded projects about industrial applications of the Internet of Things (SENSEI, SOCRADES). Built prototypes that linked the Internet of Things (shop-floor machines and production systems) with high-level business applications and platforms such as ERP/PLM solutions, SAP NetWeaver, and SAP Business Objects. Wrote and presented over 30 articles at high-profile industry events and academic conferences.

Wrote an entire software framework in Matlab & Java to localise and classify bird songs in tropical rainforests using distributed acoustic sensors.
