CurrentAsmbly Makerspace (formerly known as ATX Hackerspace) is a volunteer-run collaborative art, craft, and fabrication space in Northeast Austin.These are some of the resources available for members' use:▪ Metal and Machine shop (including MIG and TIG welders, plasma cutter, manual mill, lathe, Tormach CNC, grinders, abrasive blaster, bandsaw, chop saws, drill press, etc.)▪ Industrial woodshop (including large format 5'x8' CNC, lathes, saws, router, jointer, planer, drum sander, drill press, hand tools, etc.)▪ Electronics lab (including oscilloscope, soldering stations, PCB reflow oven, hot air rework stations, etc.)▪ CO2 laser cutters with bed sizes up to 2'x4'▪ Multiple 3D printers (including Prusa MK3s, Qidi X-Max, PolyPrinter 229, and Form 2 resin printer)▪ Industrial sewing▪ And more!As Executive Director, I wear a lot of hats. My most important role is coordinating with the incredible leaders in the community who contribute to keep the space running and progressing forward.
