She is a Non-Executive Director of TruSpine Technologies and a Trustee of Microenterprise Africa. Previously, Victoria worked successfully at board level on business development and operations as the Chief Operating Officer of a boutique investment manager regulated in the UK and Channel Islands. Victoria honed her holistic risk management skills as a Group Risk Manager of an international insurance group with offices in the UK, Gibraltar, Bermuda, and South Africa. During her 7 years and 7 months at the Bank of England Victoria attained a competitive secondment to the Treasury Select Committee of the House of Commons. Whilst there she drafted a high-profile public report on the impact of Solvency II on the UK insurance industry, and undertook an assignment to the UK Embassy in Beijing. Victoria also arranged a secondment to the Department of Energy and Climate Change (Whitehall), before drafting the Bank of England’s report on the impact of climate change on the insurance industry. Victoria holds a bachelor’s degree from Oxford University and a master’s degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
