Within this active duty position supervised up to 14 staff members, including peers and supervisors, directing complete human resources activities supporting 800 customers and monthly payroll of over$2M. Managed human resources, payroll, benefits, budgeting, and purchasing for three individual offices across the country. Developed and maintained the division’s annual operating budget ($35K) and oversaw the distribution of travel funding ($175K). Researched, trained and counseled staff and employees on all benefits related to employment, separation and retirement. Mentored employees on propriety procedures in order to ensure a complete improvement to operations. Evaluated effectiveness and impact of human resources programs, and developed improvements based on those results.
