Growing up, I desired to know my passion. I wanted to know what brought me to life and envied everyone that appeared to know theirs. Not till I went to college did I finally discover that my passion was right in front of me all this time: everything. At my core, I am curious. I want to know why people think and do what they do. I want to know why the sky is blue and the grass is green. I even wonder the same thing for myself, my intentions behind my actions and thoughts. Furthermore, I seek out challenges. I know they are incredibly uncomfortable but that is what makes them transformative and life is meant for learning, yes?During college, I challenged myself by pursuing a Computer Science degree. After college, I decided to take a year after graduating to do what brings me to life: be challenged and let my curiosity come to life in multiple cultures. I traveled to 6 different countries with roughly 30 other people and learned a lot about different cultures, traditions and religions. I am grateful that I got a BS in Computer Science and would love the opportunity to bring my technical knowledge to any team I am a part of. I would also bring my curiosity, as well as my passion to know and help people. Therefore, I believe I am the perfect candidate for anyone looking for a quick learner who strives to one day be a project manager. With all these experiences, I am now looking for a job in Project Management. How does a passion for challenges and curiosity come together to make a good project manager? Managing a project (communicating with clients, team members, and other departments, working within a timeframe and budget, etc) is a large challenge. Curiosity opens up a space for one to get to know and understand the needs of their employees and their client(s). This creates an environment for them to strive and ideally for the needs to be met on both sides. Furthermore, it helps the project manager know how to run the project, especially when things do not go as planned since they already asked countless questions beforehand to be ready for almost every possible situation.
