My name is Viktor Hernandez-Gonzalez, I am a graduate of Guilford Technical Community College class of 2021 under the AAS Mechatronics program and am currently a Shipping Coordinator.Before working here I mostly did freelance work as a musician in various bands, as well as promoting concerts. I had to learn the rules of marketing and fine-tuning advertisement as well as managing social media accounts.Along this time I was also going to college and honing my skills in mechanical and electrical appliances. I've found that I work incredibly well with large numbers and calculations, especially in regards to electricity, physics and calculus, I enjoy the puzzle aspect of it. I also enjoy designing and troubleshooting programs in PLC and in wiring control systems.During my time as a Laser Operator I became fairly familiar with my assigned laser cutter. As it ran on CNC code I was able to keep my CNC coding skills from high school fresh, though I didn't have full freedom to program from scratch. I have however de-bugged programs on several occasions.Currently I work in the shipping department as Shipping Coordinator though I also manage inventory and monitor the progress on orders down the entire production line from organizing what gets cut out of raw material to getting weights and dimensions on ready items for shipping out. I work with LTL and FTL carriers along with customers to determine the best method of shipment, making sure all the paperwork is thorough.
