Developed, analyzed and delivered budget targets with regards to EBITA and annual savings goals. • Drove continuous improvement in the supply base in support of business goals utilizing long-term agreements and VA/VE activities. Drove collaboration across the supply chain and the business to maximize cost reduction opportunities within the raw material portfolio. Led and participated in purchasing related internal meetings including presentations to senior management.• Utilized online auctions to facilitate a fasteners cost reduction of $1.1 million in 2007. Provided analytical support to Director of North American Logistics Operations to identify cost-savings opportunities and assist in their implementation. Project Manager for GMNA Inbound Logistics cost-savings analysis. • Performed data mining of GMNA MGO and GMNA spend databases of 60,000 part numbers to statistically analyze cube-utilization, distance, commodity-type, mode, ton-miles, and others, to identify cost-savings. Identified several millions of dollars’ worth of savings while booking a single savings of over $1M, which earned a GMNA Recognition Award. • Developed transportation metrics and tracking mechanisms for service partner, Vector SCM. These included histograms, scatter plots, and other tools used to manage performance of transportation providers.

Managed the flow of finished vehicles throughout the North American distribution network. • Daily responsibility for oversight of 10,000 finished vehicles ($250 million of in-transit inventory).• Key participant in North American Transit Time Reduction Initiative. Identified, classified and benchmarked the best shipping and receiving practices of finished vehicle transportation suppliers. This initiative resulted in a 1-day North American transit time reduction for 2001.• Led the daily Operations Conference Call with 20 employees. Delivery date reliability increase from 50% to 90%.

Project leader for J.D. Power Initial Quality Study and J.D. Power Tracking Study, General Motors Truck Group. • Utilized the J.D. Power Initial Quality Study survey instrument, a 135-question survey, broken down into nine categories (buckets), mailed to new vehicle owners in the United States after 90 days of new vehicle ownership. • Performed analyses using appropriate databases and statistical tools, including Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel and the J.D. Power software package, m-Tab Power Analyst. • Analyzed and benchmarked data for all Vehicle Segments, Makes, Models and Body-styles for GM and competitors. Responsible for Quality Dash Boards.
