How did I find myself managing and consulting for major international brands without a degree?I grew up in a traditional Asian family who had just escaped the Cambodian genocide in the early 80's. My parents (like many Asians of their generations) wanted us to be doctors or lawyers.Everything in my life had steered me away from my true calling as I grew up consuming technical knowledge. However with a natural urge to challenge myself, learn things on my own and get my hands dirty with real experience, it was clear I wasn’t just a here to crunch numbers; I actually had a creative and artistic mindset as well. This naturally led me to marketing and I haven’t looked back since.I have enjoyed over a decade of successfully managing, designing, working with and consulting for many great brands and events including G-Star RAW, Mercedes-Benz, Dufry, Constructive Recruitment and Stonnington Council as well as producing music concert tours, basketball tournaments and directing charity events.
