Role:- Implementation of new business, working alongside our Business Development team, completion of due diligence and AML, and negotiation of custodial and trustee documentation;- Maintaining key relationships with internal and external clients;- Complying with the Corporations Act, ASIC legislation, and other relevant legislations, including working on projects for any changes;- Negotiation and execution of documents in relation to the assets of the trust, which includes liaising with clients, internal and external legal, and senior management;- Authorising work in relation to document execution, payments, and invoicing;- Developing, maintaining and adhering to company policies in respect of our custodial and trustee roles;- Managing and assisting with internal and external auditing, and working with our internal risk group to identify, manage, resolve and mitigate risks; - Responsibility for the team finances, controlling forecasting, aged debtors, aged accruals and funds under management; and- Working alongside senior management for new business strategies, employee engagement (I am currently a member of Corporate Trust’s Employee Representative Committee) and other ad-hoc projects.- Managing a portfolio of Managed Investment Trust (commercial property) and A-REITS, including carrying out fiduciary obligations and legal title responsibilities.

I work in the Property & Mortgage Custody team within Trust & Fund Services, Corporate Trust, which encompasses the provision of custody, trustee and securitisation services within the commercial industry.I currently manage a team of 4 where their roles include:- execution of transactional documents, including discharges, leases, mortgages and other financial documents- release of mortgage documents to clients and solicitors- invoicing and reporting responsibilities- compliance requirements- negotiation of documents for execution, as well as custody agreements and trust deeds- client face-to-face communication- working on projects, including amendments in the property industryI work to effectively manage team work and morale, as well as manage the team's finances, policies and any issues.
