I am seasoned Architect educated in both analog and digital design. I can draw, model, select materials, sit test a sofa, develop a wall section, plan a home or a tower, massage or coerce a client, wrestle with or assuage a contractor. I can lead, collaborate, and most importantly, think critically.Prior to my current position at AB design, I ran my own small studio in Los Angeles managing a team of architects and interior designers focused on creative office spaces and residences for individuals and boutique developers. We put a strong emphasis on relationships, and a belief in being kind andgenerous while demanding excellence of ourselves, our clients, consultants, and contractors.Previously, as a Senior Associate with AECOM, I designed and developed projects locally andinternationally in close partnership with studio leaders. We worked in small teams on largeprojects in many typologies with a studio of about thirty designers. We worked with private,commercial, and public clients and collaborated with inter-disciplinary teams around the world.With Marmol Radziner, I worked on highly detailed, custom homes in a design-build environment.We worked directly with in-house fabricators and contractors, and I learned to collaborate closelywith millworkers and craftsman, listening, learning, and bringing their expertise to each detail.In my current role with AB design, I have helped to grow a small, family-style studio intoa company with multiple offices, a significant volume of projects, and an emerging corporatehierarchy. It has been a great learning experience and allowed me to develop new skills andfocus in project management, team-building and firm wide financial success.
