I work with clients to define, design and implement Industrial IoT solutions that are secure, sustainable and meaningful. Our solutions help customers predict how their machines will perform, detect anomalies and qualify equipment health issues. We leverage for this our industry-grade IoT framework, Industry 4.0 business applications and best-in-class data.

Worldwide responsibility for the Maximo Asset Performance Management for Energy & Utilities software product suite. Collaborated with E&U customers worldwide to understand their needs and specify new features. Steered related design and development activities. Developed and launched the IBM Vegetation Management SaaS solution in collaboration with the IBM.

Defined and led the development, in collaboration with Veolia, of a digital platform for water and wastewater utilities. Supported the teams in charge of the marketing, selling and rollout of the solution worldwide. Specified the district heating extension of this platform. Overall, the solution has been deployed in over 30 customer locations worldwide.

• Delivered pre-sales and post-sales consulting services to utilities:
• Led the migration of a water management solution from a legacy to a state of the art IBM platform
• Defined an innovation roadmap for a customer's digital water services application
• Drove the technical section of a proposal for an emergency management solution

Stepped into critical projects related to water management and smarter infrastructures (water supply, wastewater management, stormwater management, flood control, etc.) to support local technical sales and delivery teams with specialized know-how and subject matter expertise.

• Delivered consulting services and commercial offers, in Switzerland and abroad. For example, I:
• Developed a domain model for mobility insurance products at Touring Club Suisse
• Refined use cases and interface specifications in a Maximo EAM integration for Swiss Railways SBB
• Was instrumental in a consulting engagement for the Suffolk County Authorities. My team's recommendations have been integrated into the related Comprehensive Water Resource Management Plan

• Supervised the planning, development and management of IT and Telecom Services:
• Successfully launched workplace, datacenter and telecom services offerings on the Swiss market
• Supported consultants, sales and marketing in the usage, selling and promotion of the offerings

• I was in charge of all market research activities of the company:
• Delivered on demand analyses about the ICT markets
• Steered special projects, like datacenter benchmarkings or due diligences

• In charge of all projects and activities related to geospatial information management:
• Created and coded a model to optimize the spatial positioning of telecom PoPs
• Developed various software applications e.g. a web-based customer information system
• Administered the Autodesk-based GIS server of the company

• Drove an applied research work about software engineering approaches for GIS, with validation based on urban water management use cases:
• In-depth analysis of water utility business processes
• Conceived a component-based software engineering method for the management of georeferenced assets
• Developed object-relational persistence layers, interfaces with hydraulic models, geospatial data viewers

Drove and performed several water-related research projects: storm water management, pollutant transports, soil and groundwater contamination, infiltration practices, hydrological data management. Authored and co-authored several publications.
