She is the owner and principal investigator for Golden State Workplace Law, which she founded in February 2015 to perform neutral workplace investigations of employment-related matters. Valerie investigates discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims as well as employee misconduct matters in both the private and public sectors. Valerie provides her clients with insightful, impartial and efficient investigations to resolve employment issues in the best interest of all parties. She also performs Title IX investigations for educational institutions.In addition to her employment law practice, Valerie has taught Legal Writing and Legal Research at the Monterey College of Law since 2012.
