- Conducted thermal shock testing on hard disk drives in a thermal shock chamber to understand the nature of impact affecting the read/write actuator arm. - Used a high-resolution PC oscilloscope and a data logger to acquire the signal in real time and conditioned the signal to spot recurrent shocks. - Developed a CAD to design the system and isolate shock.
