And CNN was first when Rep. Charlie Melancon wept over BP's oily assault on Louisiana's "way of life."My mission every day, every hour is to unearth, assess and disseminate those "moments" that crystallize and illuminate a story and do it in a breaking news environment, on-air and on-line, so that our news consumers understand not just what happened, but why.I mentor young news assistants and media coordinators on how to spot those "moments" and place them in their historical context.I am a self-starter and quick learner with a strong work ethic. I thrive in the heat of an election season.
