Within the Indigeneity component, I further challenged myself to bring forth a truly meaningful engagement experience for the community. Meeting with Kingston Native Centre and Language Nest prompted the pioneering of TEDx’s first Indigenous Art Gallery. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, bringing about discussions for future collaborations between local organizations and the cohort of over ten vendors and artists, providing a mutual platform for community education and growth through authentic, lived experiences.
