Broadcast Engineer for Global Radio as part of the 24/7 south region engineering team who looked after radio stations in Essex, Kent, Brighton, Fareham and Reading.I was responsible for Globals Essex Broadcast Centre. Day to day I looked after Heart Essex and Smooth Essex on 5 FM Frequencies and 2 AM Frequencies plus local output to digital platforms. This required upkeep of the studios, broadcast and IT equipment on site, incident reporting and resolution, authoring documentation for shared knowledge, training members of staff how to use equipment required for their jobs whether they be a on air, commercial or creative staff member plus planning outside broadcasts, events and stunts.I also provided regular engineering cover for Globals London Leicester Square building which is home to Classic FM, Capital FM, Capital Xtra, Heart, Radio X, Gold, Smooth Radio and LBC stations. In addition to this I have been part of engineering teams created to work on outside broadcasts for shows such as Capital's Jingle Bell Ball and The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X.I was also part of a 24/7 on-call rota that monitors transmission within the five counties mentioned above ensuring that downtime of broadcast feeds and equipment is kept to a minimum. Due to this I have been lucky enough to visit Arqiva's Radio Desk at Emley Moore and venture to the top of the transmitter while Arqiva demonstrated their Surenet system.

Within the role, I worked across a range of radio shows produced at BBC Three Counties Radio with presenters such as Gareth Lloyd, Andy Collins, Justin Dealey, Edward Adoo, Yasmeen Khan, Helen Legh and Roberto Perrone. I was required to have a deep understanding of how both studios and their systems work.Ensuring that each broadcast is output without any issues. If any issue arises I can attempt to troubleshoot and fix them. This can be in-house at the studios or while operating an outside broadcast. It is also required that I have a great understanding of software/hardware used to produce and broadcast such as Dira! Highlander, Dira! Scheduler, PhoneBox, ENPS, Sable/PLG, Comrex and Viprinet with the addition of web-based applications such as the BBC Jukebox and the BBC iPlayer.

Originally hired as a Sales Associate in a newly opened Skechers retail store, I was asked due to my experience if I would like to instead take on the Senior Sales Associate role.This was a key holding supervisor role within a large store managing a team of 20 staff members in a busy shopping centre. The role required that I was able to drive the shop floor to hit daily targets while keeping staff morale high due to the high amount of customers we had per day. The job also required me to troubleshoot problems within a quick timeframe, for example, we had multiple issues with tills and telephone systems going offline which had to be fixed to stop long periods of downtime which would affect the sales for that business day.
